Two men are out golfing and after a while they get quite frustrated playing behind two slow-playing ladies. On the next tee the first guy says to his buddy, "Why don't you go up there and ask them if they mind if we play through?"

The second guy agrees. He gets about half way up the fairway, turns around and comes right back to the tee box. "I can't go up there and ask them. You see, one of those ladies is my wife ... the other one is my mistress."

So the first guy takes off in the cart to go ask if they can play through. He gets half way up the fairway, turns around and comes back to the tee box. "What do you know ... small world."
